This natural larimar cabochon is hand cut and ready to be set, wrapped, or displayed. All of our cabochons are polished to 3k before receiving a final polish of either cerium oxide or a wax compound, assuring a superior shine.
Larimar is one of the rarest gemstones on Earth. This blue variety of pectolite is found in only one place in the world — a small mining area in the Dominican Republic — and nowhere else. Every piece is genuinely scarce, and stones with this color are increasingly hard to come by.
